摘要

The placidness of Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) towards environment is now well known. Although PHA s are fully biodegradable polymers they possess a few shortcomings like, high crystalinity, brittleness and lack of adhesion, which needs to be addressed to increase their versatility and applications. In the wake of these needs modification of PHAs has become inevitable. Different methods including blending and grafting are known to bring about desired changes in their morphology and physical properties.
