摘要

A number of different techniques for drying and regenerating transformers on-site have been developed over the last decades. The most valid techniques and procedures will be described here. A new method for drying oil-immersed cellulose insulation has been developed in such a manner that a drying and regeneration of active parts can take place on-site, similar to what was usually done in the factory and in major repair facilities. This process is called MVPA - Mobile Vapour Phase Process, the technique will be described and results from the first experiences will be discussed.
