CONTROLLING THE DISPERSED GENERATION USING THE INTERNET TECHNIQUES

In the last decades we observe tendency to include small generating units into existing large power systems. These units frequently utilize renewable resources such as water, wind or solar energy and therefore we can not expect that a single unit can realize a fixed duty schedule in every conditions. In order to reduce this undesirable effect and increase attractiveness at the electricity market small energy providers form producer groups seen by the distribution network as a single energy provider with larger production capacity. It is worth mentioning that the particular producer group (PG) can comprise energy consumers connected directly to its inner network. Such a group of producers and consumers is called the local balancing area (LBA).
