Results of experimental investigation of speckle created by the reflection of laser beam from ruffled surface of liquid with limite number of statistically independent scatterers are presented. First order intensity statistics are investigated. Dependence of higher order statistical moments on amplitude of ripples is presented. Possible applications are discussed.
