摘要

Based on the fundamentals of heat transfer, the present research derives the entropy generation number of a multipressure condenser under the condition of accounting for the effects of inlet temperature on the overall heat transfer coefficient. Taking the entropy generation number as objective function, the optimum distributions of the heat transfer surface and the circulation ratio among the stages of the condenser are obtained by using the method of unknown Lagrangian multiplier.
