摘要

Synchronous rotating cavitation (SRC) is known as one of some cavitation instabilities, which causes synchronous shaft vibration. To investigate aspects of SRC, we examined the shaft vibration at the inception of SRC. It was found that the amplitude of shaft vibration increases exponentially, i.e., logarithm decrement is negative. It is similar to self-excited vibration.
