Recent E158 Results

摘要

Experiment E158 has recently observed parity violation in the scattering of polarized electrons from the electrons in a liquid hydrogen target at SLAC. The results are consistent with the predictions of the Standard Model. We plan to obtain additional data by the end of the summer of 2003 to provide the most precise measurement of sin~2 θ_w at low energy.
