History of Lithium-ion batteries 1.In 1970s M.S Whittingham used titanium sulphide as cathode material to create the first Lithium battery.2.In 1980,J.Goodenough discovered LiCoO2 could be used as cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries.3.In 1991,Sony Corporation unveiled the first commercial lithium-ion battery.
