1. Fundamental adsorption experiments and modeling has provided information of the adsorbent properties and parameters of adsorption kinetics and equilibria. 2. Co-adsorption of iodine and water can not be described by GPAST due to a co-adsorption mechanism including the deactivation of adsorption sites: 2.1. The model will be modified, or new model will be developed for co-adsorption of iodine and water, 2.2. Mechanism of iodine and water co-adsorption will be studied. 3. Aging issues of Ag containing sorbents (Ag~0Z and Ag~0-aerogel) under off-gas conditions: 3.1. Determine the mechanisms of aging (deactivation) processes, 3.2. Incorporate the deactivation processes to the adsorption models.
