1. TiO2 particles were successfully loaded on the surface of the SPSP reactor uniformly using discharge. 2. Visible light sensitivity was enhanced by discharge treatment. 3. Although enhancement of visible light sensitivity was hardly affected by type of TiO2, it was affected by input power and discharge time significantly. 4. In spite of enhancement in visible light sensitivity, crystalline phase did not change for all the treated sample after discharge treatment. It means only surface layer of the TiO2 was altered. 5. Discharge treatment without water showed increase of visible light sensitivity which was possibly due to Cu sputtering from discharge electrode. However, discharge treatment with water vapor resulted in significant increase of visible light sensitivity. The difference in visible light sensitivity enhancement between with or without water vapor condition would be due to hydrogenation of TiO2 only at the surface.
