Bulk foam is the agglomeration of gas bubbles separated from each other by thin liquid films [1]. In this study, we explore a grey-box modeling approach to evaluate effective bulk foam viscosity. The strategy is to model the complex behavior of surface-tension dominated foam flow from first principles, followed by the utilization of an empirical viscosity model. Simulation of foam flow is attempted in two ways. One is by solving the Navier-Stokes equation along with the convection of level set function which indicates the presence of gas, liquid or interface. The other method is the simulation of foam based on the Poiseulle-like flow of liquid phase through the interconnected system of plateau borders. It is observed that the second method is easier to implement in spite of its limitations. Effective viscosity is then empirically determined by different approaches.
