TEG-Co nanocomposite materials synthesized by chemical deposition from water-salt solutions have been studied by SEM, X-ray diffraction and magnetometric measurements. It was shown that the type of cobalt salt used for nanocomposite material preparation under the same temperature and temporal conditions determines morphology, structure and character of distribution of Co particles on the surface of graphite supporter. Preliminary thermal shock promotes the formation of the smaller and fragmentized Co particles. The compatible analysis of the obtained data shows the durability of material upon heating being closely related to the size and substructure of Co particles in the synthesized composites.
