Automatic Alignment and Inspection System for Rear Projection TV manufactures

Comparing to the high-cost plasma display, the lower price of rear projection TV (especially the CRT-based PTV) seem to be much more popular in consumer market in recently years. According to authentic estimate, the market will be more promising in the next several years. However, there have been some very annoying problems happened in the image quality, manufacturing, and after-service of rear PTVs. If these problems can not be solved, it may be difficult to match the market requirement in the future, and then cut the profits that should be gained by PTV manufacturers. In this paper, we first indicate the problems already encountered by the manufacturers. Then we try to propose some solutions at strategies to these problems. Real workable alignment system demonstration will prove our ability to solve these problems.
