摘要

In this work, adhesively bonded joints with composite adherends are evaluated both experimentally and analytically in environments similar to those encountered in cryotanks. Adherends are of unidirectional graphite-BMI construction bonded with AF-191M film adhesive. Monotonic mode I adhesive fracture toughness tests are performed at near-liquid nitrogen temperature (-190°C), room temperature (27°C) and elevated temperatures (121°C, 117°C) to determine temperature effects on critical-strain energy release rate.
