Supply Chain of MEMS in Taiwan: Driving Technology Needs with a System Perspective

摘要

The strategy and status of Taiwan's MEMS program are discussed. The system perspective, which was used as the platform for Taiwan to guide the next-phase MEMS program, is also presented. Three successful development programs that utilize the system perspective are used as the case studies to examine the suitability of using MEMS system requirements to promote interdisciplinary studies and to help academic institutes move upwards along the knowledge supply chain.
