摘要

The Laplace equation with variable coefficients is solved by being transformed into the Poisson-type equation. The domain integral associated with the boundary elements due to the non-homogeneous term is transformed into the boundary integral by the dual reciprocity method. The previous paper [1] presented that the dual reciprocity boundary element modeling was capable of the direct inversion for the two-dimensional case. The present work is a direct extension of this approach to the three-dimensional case in which some simple examples are demonstrated.
