Centrifuge model tests of geosynthetics reinforced retaining walls

摘要

Detailed studies of the deformation mechanisms of reinforced retaining walls, the wall failure modes, failure surfaces and the effect of different reinforcement parameters (spacing, strength and length of reinforcement) on the walls have been studied using 24 centrifuge model tests. The test results have provided the wall failure modes and working mechanisms.
