Based on the researches in attached and detached apple leaf (Malus pumila Mill.cv.Tengmu No.1/Malus hupehensis Rehd), mechanism of photoinhibition and the metabolism on active oxygen species were reviewed under the condition of drought stress and their relationship was analyzed emphatically.
