In this paper, a new material of 28Cr high-chromium white cast iron with better toughness was studied by component optimizing. The erosive-wear tests and the interaction between corrosion and wear of the new material were studied by comparing with the results of 0Cr13Ni5Mo. The results show that the properties of erosive-wear resistance of the new material are more excellent than that of 0Cr13Ni5Mo. Wear is the dominating failure form of the materials during erosive-wear process. However, the corrosion and the interaction between corrosion and wear are not ignored.
