DEGENERATIONS AND MODULI SPACES IN K?HLER GEOMETRY

We report some recent progress on studying degenerations and moduli spaces of canonical metrics in K?hler geometry, and the connection with algebraic geometry, with a particular emphasis on the case of K?hler-Einstein metrics.
