Cross transmission of infectious diseases remains a concern especially in medical and health-care facilities 1.Such transmission has been found to occur from the contacts of surface with hands and textile materials such as cloths,surgeon gowns and nurses clothing.Hence,the use of protective antimicrobial textiles in this area could provide protection to healthcare workers against potential transmission of diseases.
