Relaxation of phosphor screen characteristics of low voltage CL display devices

摘要

The experimental data concerning the processes of brightness relaxation of RGB phosphors in vacuum fluorescent displays and in a testing system are presented. It was recorded both increase and decrease of CL brightness of phosphor screen after a few tens of minutes of first period of CL device operation. The main reasons of such phenomenon are discussed. We propose a physical model of cathodoluminescent system and its mathematical description, which can simulate behavior of phosphor screen under electron beam irradiation.
