Increase in the productivity and the stability of slab CC quality by utilizing electromagnetic devices

EMS is applied to the steel grade, which demanded no surface defect and surface defect is decreased. EMBr is applied to the steel grade, which demanded no internal defect and internal defect is decreased. LMF is applied to shorten the length of compositional mixture between different composition ladles and the length of compositional mixture is decreased by 50 percent. In Oita, electromagnetic devices are used effectively. The quality and the productivity have been improved.
