摘要

Sputter-deposited films and coatings have been widely studied for developing materials with various surface characteristics. We have prepared a series of fluorocarbon polymer coatings (FCPCs) for developing a novel waterproof breathable fabric due to sputtering is a solvent-free process and can be used to modify surface behaviors without changing bulk properties.. It has been found that the surface properties of the coatings are controlled by their surface microstructure, and the joint strength at interface between the coating and the substrate surface is determined by the interface microstructure. The aim of the present work is to study on the both structures.
