Genesis of the New Information Systems Engineering Program at the United States Military Academy at West Point

We give an overview of the relatively young Information Systems Engineering major at the United States Military Academy at West Point. The purpose and origins of the multi-disciplinary, multi-departmental program are described. We summarize the current curriculum and the assessment process we use for continuous improvement, and conclude by discussing program challenges and plans for the future.
