In this paper, we propose a new system designed to protect rightful ownerships. RSA based eigenvalue is developed and used with DWT technique for detecting or restoring image destruction. DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform) technique is applied by transforming an image from spatial domain into frequency domain. Eigenvalue for image information can be taken from the lower frequency. The eigenvalue will be RSA encrypted with a public key and hidden in the middle frequency. By comparing the RSA encrypted eigenvalue with eigenvalue taken for the image information in the lower frequency, we can determine the authenticity of the image. Our experimental results proved that we are able to detect and restore the image back to its original image. Even when destruction occurs on the original image, rightful ownerships could still be proven.
