Isothermal strain controlled Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF)-loading of F82H mod. samples at 550°C led - with tensile hold times above 3-10 minutes - to longer lifetimes than those of MANET II. While specimens of both materials, tested at 450°C, show nearly equal fatigue life times with tensile hold times until 10 minutes. LCF-properties of the RAFM steels F82H mod. and OPTIFER IV at 450°C and total strains between 1.5 and 0.5% are rather similar. OPTIFER IV with the lowered normalizing temperature of 950°C shows at total strains between 0.5 and 0.6% an increase of the number of cycles to failure.
