Terms of trade is an important indicator of an economy' s benefit from engagement in foreign trade. But China suffered from worsening terms of trade (NBTT) in the 1990s. In this paper, the author explains the changes in China's terms of trade (NBTT) and analyzes the reasons behind those changes, J The author also puts forward some policy suggestions.
