Polymeric organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) are gaining broader commercial acceptance as inexpensive and versatile alternatives to traditional inorganic-based display technologies. The further advancement of this technology is dependent on extending device lifetimes and improving electroluminescence efficiencies, both of which strongly depend on the integrity and charge injection efficiencies at the cathode/organic contacts.
