Since Kim and Webser produced hyperbranched polyphenylenes from AB_2 type monomers the number of examples of hyperbranched polymers has risen rapidly.However,although examples of hyperbranched polyamides were among the first reported relatively few further papers have been published concerning this class of polymer.
