In recent years,supercritical (sc) CO_2 has been used as a promising solvent for free-radical polymerization in scCO_2.By far most of them have been carried out in heterogeneous phase.Previously,we have shown that considerable degrees of monomer conversion may be reached in homopolymerizations of styrene and of acrylic acid esters.In addition,rate coefficients for propagation and termination were determined for these monomers.
