Novel Alkali and UV Curable Soluble Dispersant for High Loading Carbon Black Dispersion and Its Lithography Property

摘要

CB provided an effective light shielding property and was widely used for ink, tinting, and toner applications. In some special fields, such as portable TV, office automation equipment, and other display devices, a high CB loading photo-resist was desired. A series of dispersants having amide (or imide) group, (meth)acrylate group, and carboxylic acid functional groups was developed in this work to impart stability of CB dispersion, UV curable, and alkali soluble properties, respectively. The influence of the dispersant structure on the stability of CB dispersion was discussed and a stable CB dispersion was prepared by a ball-milling process. Furthermore, this CB dispersion can be used to prepare a black pattern of 10μm in size on the glass substrate by a UV-lithography technique.
