Synthesis and Structural Characterization of Polyesters Derived From Ticarcillin and Group VA Organometallic Dihalides

We are involved in the synthesis and preliminary biological characterization of a number of so-called “next generation” drugs. Specifically, we have included known drugs into polymers for the purposes of allowing the known drug to be delivered over time and for the purpose of coupling the known drug with another moiety that also offers anti-microbial activity.
