There has been great interest in the study of substituted polythiophenes in the area of organic molecular electronics.Polythiophene derivatives have been applied to a variety of devices including,e.g.polymer light emitting diode(PLED),field-effect transistor(FET),electrochromic devices,sensors10 etc.For high performance devices,the preparation of good quality ultrathin films is very important.This is especially the case where"sandwich devices"employ various film deposition techniques,e.g.spin-coating,vacuum evaporation,etc.where multilayer integrity is important.
