We have, and the number is still increasing monthly. Before I elaborate further, allow me to provide you with a brief background transportation of public transportation in Kuala Lumpur and PUTRA. The public transportation service in the Klang Valley serves 20% of its population with the remaining number commuting via private vehicles. To-date, there are 3 existing rails networks within the Klang Valley operated by private companies (PUTRA, STAR and KTMB). Two additional rail systems (KL Monorail and ERL) are currently under construction and due for completion sometime next year. PUTRA, currently the world's longest fully automated driverless train was incorporated on 15 February 1994 to design, construct, operate and maintain the LRT System 2 for Kuala Lumpur. The PUTRA alignment covers a total distance of 29 kilometres which is divided into two sections. Section 1 commenced operation in September 1998 and runs mainly through residential areas (14.10km). Section 2 began operations in June 1999 and connects downtown Kuala Lumpur through the city centre and into the residential areas on the eastern side of Kuala Lumpur (14.9km).
