There are literature data about using the benzotriazole (BTA) and triazole (TA) as the inhibitors of acidic iron corrosion. Triazol-dicarbonic acid (TDA), its butyl ether (BEA) and vinyl triazoles with different viscosities (PVT-1, PVT-2, PVT-4) are the substances, the inhibition activity of which has not been considered earlier and it's analysed for the first time in the present work. It has shown, that studied substances inhibit the iron corrosion in 0,05M H{sub}2SO{sub}4, especially under high temperature. The optimum concentrations of inhibitors, providing the maximum protective effect, have been sorted out. The mechanism of inhibition action of triazole compounds was considered. It was established, that all investigated substances are high-temperature cathodic inhibitors of iron corrosion and their protective properties are connected with adsorption on metal surface.
