The countering performance of scatter-wave jamming against multi-channel SAR-GMTI is studied in this paper. The scatter-wave jamming theory is proposed, and its jamming performance against SAR in range and azimuth is analyzed in detail. Then, the countering performance against SAR-GMTI is analyzed by using the tri-channel interference cancelling technique. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that: scatter-wave jamming still can produce false jamming targets for multi-channel SAR-GMTI, and due to the suppression and cancellation for scatter-wave jamming by GMTI, the amplitude of false targets is affected by the sinusoidal modulation coefficient, bringing out enhanced and weakened areas.
