Marine corrosion of SS 316L in Persian Gulf and protective coating

摘要

Stainless steels are well known as corrosion resistant materials in most atmospheres for onshore structures. Application of these materials has limitations for harsh marine atmosphere in which corrosion of stainless steels is reported.
