A new technology has been developed to produce dual density non-penumatic bicycle tires by injection molding process with thermoplastic materials.The tires have a solid skin around a cellular inner core.The foam core provides a good ride quality comparable to a pneumatic tire,and the solid outer provides long wear life and other physical properties as required.The method also can be used to make motorbike tires,wheel chair tires,and the like.
