High power technological lasers are heat-stressed devices, to a high degree. For example, gas-discharge CO_2 laser of mean power 50 kW (developed in TRINIT I) requires 15 tons/hour of water. A conventional gas-dynamic laser (GDL) requirs at least same amount.It is know that continuous operation of GDL requires a source of compressed air rated at 10 - 15 kg/s/ The most advantageous approach is to construct such a source (turbocompressor aggregate - TCA) on a basic of an airplane jet, the jets of acceptable power being two-sectioned, as a rool. That means that available are two kinds of compressed air: 2.8 atm from the fan section and approx 20 atm from the high-pressure compressor. Application of this air enables to solve the problem of AMT GDL heat regime compliance.
