Bulk Molding Compound (BMC) has become a widely specified composite for use in cosmetic applidations that experience exposure to elevated temperatures.Products such as major appliances,core electrics and indoor/outdoor lighting have many visually critical components that must function under heated conditions.BMC has successfully replaced metals and multiple part assemblies with complex configurations molded color.The concept of consolidating parts while eliminating secondary coatings steps has given engineers much to work with when designing new product.
