Optimised 3D Spatial Filters for Colour Texture Segmentation

Multi-channel filters (MCF) have attracted a lot of attention in the field of image texture segmentation because of their computational and intellectual simplicity, and this paper introduces a new way of segmenting colour images utilising texture, extending the greyscale theory of MCF into the colour domain.
