Serious dust pollution from Yang Shan Chong (YSHCH) tailings dam imposes adverse influence to local community. A rehabilitation program without soil cover is implemented to control dust from the tailings dam. The investigation findings have been employed to guide revegetation program for tailings dams where borrowed soil is not available. The rehabilitation practice in YSHCH tailings dam is rather successful and the site is prosperous and green.
