摘要

Lot streaming is the process of splitting a production lot into sublots and the working on the sublots in an overlapping fashion over machines so as to accelerate the production process. In this paper, we present a procedure to implement this concept in a dynamic environment in which the orders of production are not all available at time zero, and production is continuous. A simulation based comparative study is carried out to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed procedure over those typically used in practice.
