What does the FIB - women in the engineering profession - do?

The association was founded in 1982. The "Women in the Engineering Profession" Section of the VDI represents about 6000 women engineers in Germany. FIB members work in industry, public institutions and self-employed, in all engineering fields. Our self defined task is representing women engineers' interests more forcefully, both in the public domain and in professional life, in an effort to make engineering a more attractive vocation for women.
