摘要

The atmospheric corrosion of steel proceeded by electrochemical reactions involved iron oxidization process in micro cell under thin water layer has been investigated by many workers [1]. Some compositions of the rust act as important species of anodic and cathodic reactions. Investigations and applications of weathering steels have shown that using the low alloy steels in various situations may improve their corrosion resistance and prolong their life, so the added elements play as very important effects to decrease the corrosion rate [2, 3]. Some elements have been used as the added elements. It is found that their existing status in their rusting layers is very different [4]. The purpose of the present research is to investigate the effects of added Mo and P in rusting process of the low alloy steel. In order to obtain the rusted electrode, the corrosion cycle test [2] is carried out to prepare the samples for the electrochemical measurement.
