Simulator Reactor Core Reflections

The simulator core model is updated, on a periodic basis, to reflect the new core loads in the plant. This process involves the nuclear fuels group, the simulator core update tool and the simulator software and testing staff members. The simulator must be able to reflect the most recent plant core load to support the licensed operator training program, startup training needs. The latest versions of the regulations and simulator standard have placed more emphasis on the capability to update the simulator core model to replicate the plant conditions.
