As we have entered the 21st century, concrete structure is going to be further developed and applied, therefore, it is making a great challenge to new materials. This article is going to briefly introduce the perspective of the excellent performance of CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer), AFRP(Aramid Fiber Reinforced Polymer) and GFRP(Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer), and the history and current situation of their application in civil engineering at home and abroad. At the end of this article, the authors will raise some problems facing engineers upon the approach of FRP.
