Troubleshooting Primers and the Priming Station

Primers used in extrusion coating and extrusion lamination play an important roll in the overall performance of the finshed structure. Use of primers involves a complex interaction among the component materials, application equipment and operating conditions. This paper will attempt to focus attention on the key aspects of primer use. Also, common problems associated with, or attributed directly to priming will be discussed.
