Four triazoles and a contact fungicide were tested against carbendazim resistant and sensitive isolates of Gloeosporium ampelophagum. Growth inhibition assays showed that difenconazole possessed maximum inhibitory action against both types of isolatesfollowed by tebuconazole and fluazinam. When tested by detached leaf method, difenconazole @ 25 ug/ml was again found to he most effective against both the isolates. Tebuconazole, flusilazole and triadimefon also provided good control at 50-100 ug/ml. Fluazinam arrested disease completely at 500 ug/ml.
